2006 Annual Membership Program

Crown Point Membership directly supports our mission dedicated to the principals of spirituality, community, justice and sustainability. This valued relationship furthers our capacity to bring hope to the next generation.

As a member, you participate in our efforts to:

• Harvest approximately 15,000 lbs of fresh vegetables for hungry families each year in the eight Northeast Ohio counties served by the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.
• Model the health and community benefits of a local food production system, our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
• Prepare apprentices and interns for careers in organic farming and environmental education.
• Educate hundreds of children through summer Earth Camps, Farm-Based Environmental Education programs, Home School opportunities, and Youth In-service projects.
• Deepen the faith perspectives of adults through book discussions and Universal Dances of Peace.
• Provide a safe, sacred space for many to walk, meditate and be inspired by creation.
  

As a member, you receive:

• A yearly selected program benefit. This year will feature a gift certificate for our fresh Certified Organic produce redeemable at the Crown Point stand at the Peninsula Countryside Farmers’ Market.
• Recognition in and a copy of our seasonal guide, Interconnections.
• An invitation to our annual Gathering of Thanks celebration. Join us on Friday evening, May 12, 2006, at Our Lady of the Elms Convent.
• Early registration for Crown Point Holiday Baskets, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• A heightened voice in advocacy for environmental preservation and restoration.
